I am really enjoying finding so many different things to do with the kids this Summer, all my kids are of such varied age and ability so sometimes it is something for all of them and other things give me some quality one on one time, which is so important.
Addison at 4 seems to be increasingly interested in doing things in the Kitchen together, she is very much like me and crafty interests are definitely her favourite and if they are animal related you are onto a winner.
So imagine her excitement when the lovely people at Choc on Choc sent one of their Animal Shaped Chocolate Lollipop packs to test over the holidays.

Choc on Choc are a British chocolate brand and even better a family company, run by Father & Daughter team they have been creating Belgium Chocolate gifts since 2003 and are sold in many retailers including John Lewis, Waitrose and more. They make the most beautiful Hampers you can send out as gifts, hint Ashley there is a lovely Mummy one and they even do subscription boxes.
But they also do these awesome Melt & Make sets, a pack which includes easy to follow instructions, moulds, chocolate and even a chefs hat.
I was hugely impressed at how simple the process is, it is a case of melting the chocolate in the microwave (or on the hob), stirring, leaving to cool, pour into moulds and then refrigerate. Of course there was a licking the bowl stage to but they don’t put that in the instructions, not sure why not ;).

Perfect activity for children and the end result 5 very tasty animal shaped chocolate lollipops.
All the kids loved taste testing the lollipops as did I, it was so easy and with little clean up, so win win for Summer Holiday fun.

The moulds are ready for another make and all you need to get is some more chocolate and lolly sticks which Choc on Choc sell on-line.
Do check out the other packs, you can even make London’s Iconic Landmarks, they are perfect for parties as well.
What kitchen fun do you like to have with your children ?
