You all know I am a Stationery Lover, maybe that is a little understated, Stationery obsessed!
I love buying Stationery, obviously there is so much choice online, but for me there is nothing like shopping for Stationery in a shop, seeing the colours, the paper choice inside a notebook, choosing between rows and rows of pens, so when I heard Smiggle was coming to my hometown, 10 minutes from my front door – I was pretty happy!
Addison and I were kindly invited to launch day, my daughter is a chip of the old block and loves nothing more than a new pencil-case, or to add to her crazy collection of rubbers.
We arrived before the doors opened which meant Addison was the first on the red carpet and felt like royalty when they spoilt her with a gift to celebrate the fact.
We spent over 35 minutes looking at all the delights, trying on sunnies, testing pens, smelling pencils (don’t worry they are scented), deciding which animal character was our favourite (Addison’s is the Cheetah) and just trying to stop ourselves from spending a weeks wages.
Smiggle is the perfect shop for young and old, there literally is something for everyone (I am lusting after a cute new lunch bag for work). It is the perfect place to shop for gifts, especially when like us your calendar is filled with another 5-year-old party every weekend.
